The Last Word

We all know someone who always has to have the last word in a conversation.  If you are We all know someone who always has to get in the last word. In 2 Corinthians chapter 13 we will look at the last words that the Apostle Paul had for the Local Church. Click through for a baptist sermon on the last words from Irvington Bible Baptist Churchstruggling to think about who always gets the last word in your conversations; It’s probably you!  I’ve had conversations with someone even over a test message where they have to get the last word.  Even when a further response isn’t necessary.  For instance, they may wish you a happy birthday or something, and you respond with a thank you, and then they say you’re welcome, just to make sure that they get the last word in the conversation.

 

In 2 Corinthians chapter 13, the Apostle Paul had some departing words for the local church, that are crucial for us to follow today:

  • Be Perfect
  • Be of Good Comfort
  • Be of One Mind
  • Live in Peace
