Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall
drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

Many times in life we find ourselves in situations that we didn’t foresee that keep us from fulfilling our objectives. Sometimes the most routine of agendas turns out to be difficult if not impossible to accomplish. We can feel trapped in our circumstances and need help to escape. At other times we may be the help that someone else desperately needs.
When I was young we used to take our annual vacations at Cave City Ky and explored mammoth cave. One year I couldn’t go, but my Dad and Brother decided to take a spelunking tour. He said that it was one of the scariest events of his life. This brings to mind the story of a man by the name of Floyd Collins.
Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Eternal Security of the Believer
Having Assurance of your Salvation is critical if the Believer is going to be a productive member of the Body of Christ. Of course, to obtain Assurance of Salvation, you must first accept the free gift of salvation that is being offered to you through the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.
The 4 C’s of Fellowship with God are as follows:
