The Blank Check

What would you do if you were given a blank check that had no limits put upon it? For Irvington Bible Baptist Churchmost of us, the thought of having limitless resources or options is unfathomable. Just for a moment; however just imagine what you would do if you were given this opportunity. A person could do a lot of good if they had limitless resources couldn’t they?

I suppose that if I were given this opportunity, I would first pay off all my bills. I can think of a lot of things that I could accomplish if I were given a blank check. Just think of how many missionaries you could support, or what local ministries you could support or even start if you had a blank check. Having Assurance of your Salvation is critical if the Believer is going to be a producIrvington Bible Baptist Churchtive member of the Body of Christ.  Of course, to obtain Assurance of Salvation, you must first accept the free gift of salvation that is being offered to you through the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.

In our last lesson we looked at the Characteristics of Fellowship, next we will turn our attention to the Consequences of Fellowship with GOD.

Read 1 Corinthians 15:51-58

51,  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53, For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54, So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55, O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56, The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57, But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58,  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
